Empty hard-shelled case

Need to replace your hard-shelled case, or want an extra to hold multiples of favorite sizes?  Knitting cases available in pink or blue.  Crochet case available in light blue. (Images are for reference - this is an empty case and does not include needles/hooks/accessories).

IMPORTANT SIZING NOTE FOR KNITTING CASES:  During the summer of 2007 we changed the US 6/4mm and US9/5.5mm through US11/8mm needles to the current, metric standard (the needles were formerly US sizing based on the Boye needle standard of the 1970s).  We resized the cases at the same time.  The knitting cases are available only in the new sizing, so if you have an original pre-2007 kit, some of the needles will not fit perfectly.

• If the case you want to replace has only the US sizing marked on the white interior, you have the “original size” case.  Your US 9, 10, and 10.5 needles will fit tightly in the new case and the US 6 will fit loosely.
• If the case you want to replace has both US and mm sizing marked on the white interior, you have the current size case and all needles will fit exactly as they did in your original set.
