We are so proud to join the Stitch Red campaign! This heart disease awareness campaign was founded by Doug and Laura Zander, co-owners of Jimmy Beans Wool. Stitch Red products benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) campaign, The Heart Truth® with 10% of each Stitch Red sale donated. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the US. Nine out of ten heart disease patients have at least one risk factor or lifestyle choice that leads to illness. The goal of The Heart Truth® campaign is to help spread understanding of the disease’s risk factors and encourage adoption of the lifestyle choices that promote heart health.
